5th Intercept! June 2, 2009

Brian Cameron Posted by Brian Cameron at 07:16 PM on June 02, 2009

OK, so today around 5 PM, I got the 5th intercept for ECSC. I got homefrom school and it was completely clear except for some clouds to thewest (which were the thunderstorms). I turned on my computer and I amin a severe thunderstorm warning. I was like,"What the heck?!?!" So I checked the radar and sure enough there was a line of thunderstorms heading straight for me. I was like,"Wo." So around 5 it started getting very dark. There was actually still thunder at 7! Once the storm was about 10 miles south-east of me, there was "doplar indicated rotation"! So because my brother had the camera with him I was not able to get any pictures. Oh, and by the way, It is sunny again. Very weird.

I tryed to 2 days ago with our chasing camera and there were two problems.1 The lightning is too fast.and two too bright out even though it as night.we live near a big mall so it makes sense that theres light polution.
